Job summary

Farm Credit Illinois is seeking a motivated college student to join our team as a Sales Intern in Summer of 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience in agricultural lending and crop insurance, with a focus on member service and business development.

You will explore sales career paths, complete meaningful projects, and collaborate with regional teams while developing customer service skills. The role runs May 17, 2027 to August 5, 2027, with relocation flexibility and travel

Qualifications

Must be enrolled as a college student in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 with intent to enroll Fall 2027.
Preferred majors include ag business, ag econ, and business.

Responsibilities

Explore sales career paths through hands-on experience and shadowing.
Complete meaningful projects to support member service and business development.
Prospect for new customers, assist with loan submissions and acreage reports, and attend sales training sessions.
Collaborate with regional teams while developing problem-solving and customer service skills.
Participate in a mentor program and team-building activities while learning about agriculture in central and southern Illinois.
