Job summary

Illinois Farm Bureau offers a County Farm Bureau Associate Intern role designed to work alongside managers to plan programs and events for members. You will prepare board meeting materials and participate in monthly board meetings while leading a membership engagement project.

The internship requires full-time hours from late May 2027 to early August 2027, with potential extension into fall 2027 and spring 2028.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field.
• Must be able to work full-time hours from late May 2027 to early August 2027.
• Graduation date of August 2027 or beyond.
• Interest in becoming a County Farm Bureau manager after graduation.

Responsibilities

• Help to plan events and programs for members
• Prepare information for board meetings
• Attend monthly board meetings
• Be in charge of completing a membership engagement project
• Work some nights and weekends
