Job summary

The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. is seeking an Agriculture Project Manager in Cleveland, OH to lead agricultural-focused engineering projects from proposal through completion.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, act as a key client contact, and support business development efforts. Qualifications include a Civil/Agricultural/Environmental Engineering degree and 5–10 years of project management; PE licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Strong AutoCAD design experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects, staff, and budgets effectively.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage agricultural-focused engineering projects, including AutoCAD-based design, permitting, and construction observation and certification.
• Serve as a primary client contact, providing clear communication, project updates, and technical guidance.
• Support business development efforts by preparing proposals and participating in due diligence activities.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and production staff to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee and manage contract budgets and project financial performance.
• Mentor, develop, and manage staff while supporting office and company growth initiatives.
• Perform and oversee general civil, agricultural, and environmental engineering design work.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary MSG teams across Surveying, Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Civil, Agricultural, Traffic, Transportation, and Construction Services.
