Job summary

Biltmore in Asheville, NC is seeking an Agricultural Logistics Coordinator to lead and develop the estate's Agricultural programs, manage budgeting, data analysis, and operations administration, and oversee all logistics for agriculture operations including animal data reporting and the meat sales program.

The role requires collaboration with estate food & beverage, growers, and shop teams to ensure on-time fulfillment of Biltmore Grown products, maintain records for livestock and inventory,

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred; additional training and/or certification(s) a plus.
• Experience with livestock performance; understanding of production measures and agricultural economics.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office; extensive data analysis and data management experience.
• Proven leadership and cross-department collaboration.
• Commitment to world-class guest service.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute processing appointments and invoicing; monitor revenue, expenses, margins and budget variances.
• Coordinate with restaurants, chefs, purchasing, and growers for Biltmore Grown products including beef, pork, lamb, and farm-fresh eggs; manage PO orders and deliveries.
• Maintain cattle, sheep, and swine records; update CattleMax; analyze livestock performance data.
• Provide accounting record support; manage month-end reports and organize expenses for multiple agriculture departments.
• Track livestock prescriptions and report to prescribing veterinarian.
• Maintain inventory controls and forecast future requirements of all agriculture products.
• Maintain calving, lambing, swine, and processing records for budget forecasting.
• Coordinate data input for breed associations and maternal program registers.
• Manage weekly e-commerce orders and fulfill Biltmore Grown products; support customer service via Biltmore Shop.
• Provide travel logistics for agriculture delegations and veterinary visits.
