Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit seeks a Relationship Manager I or II to join the Montana Lending and Insurance team in Billings. The role focuses on timely analysis, relationship management, and credit classification for a diverse loan portfolio across rural and agricultural sectors.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Lending and Insurance Group, establishing collateral values, and assisting in credit investigations while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent is required.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and analysis.
• Ability to travel to perform duties and negotiate terms.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal workgroups ensuring annual credit analysis and classification.
• Maintain effective relationship management with accounts and negotiate terms.
• Classify loans and data attributes, report portfolio quality to supervisor.
• Collaborate with Lending and Insurance group to guide high-risk credit relationships.
• Establish valuations of collateral and assist in credit investigations.
• Participate in loan closings and ensure proper documentation.
