Job summary

Illinois Farm Bureau is seeking a Consumer Engagement Coordinator in the Agricultural Engagement department to connect with non-farm audiences across Illinois and translate agriculture into accessible information.

You will plan meetings and events, manage social media, collaborate with county Farm Bureaus, and help develop members with learning experiences and resources for engagement in online and in-person settings.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with various social media platforms and understanding of social media optimizations.
• Creative thinker and ability to problem solve in the moment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organize efficiently, and attend to details of priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with colleagues on the development, direction and management of assigned programs.
• Plans and executes meetings, events, conferences, and trips of various sizes, including building agendas, marketing and communication, securing sponsors, recruiting participants and volunteers, registration, detailed event logistics, and on-site facilitation.
