Job summary

Cross Resource Group is seeking a driven sales professional to promote new and used agricultural, construction, and turf equipment. You will represent the company in a defined sales area, maintain product knowledge, and engage customers through field demonstrations and events.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, knowledge of equipment financing, and following a defined sales process to drive sales and growth.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Preferred: one-year equipment sales experience.
• Knowledge of commercial equipment is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet tools.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Strong customer relationship skills expected.
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
• Monitors competitive activity and communicates findings to management.
• Maintains all customer information in the assigned territory for sales management.
• Knows and follows a defined sales process.
• Assists with preparation and execution of customer events.
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
• Monitors trends in customers' business activities and informs management.
• Maintains knowledge of financing options to assist customers with purchases.
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
• May maintain knowledge of used equipment values for trading purposes.
