Job summary

AGCO in Jackson, MN is seeking a Technical Information Specialist to develop and deliver high-quality technical documentation for agricultural products, systems, and components. You will collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to gather, validate, and organize content for operator and workshop manuals.

The role supports the product lifecycle, including NPI, uses structured authoring tools, and operates with moderate supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and validate information from multiple sources.
• Effective written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate across functions.
• English skills with knowledge of mechanical, electronic, or hydraulic systems and adherence to processes.

Responsibilities

• Align documentation scope and timing with project teams for NPI and lifecycle activities.
• Develop Annotated Topic Lists (ATLs) for Operator Manuals and Workshop Manuals.
• Coordinate with internal and external content providers to gather, validate, and organize technical information.
• Review drafts against requirements and quality criteria.
• Coordinate content updates and AGCO Change Requests (ACR).
• Support training materials for Train-the-Trainer initiatives and assist with training delivery.
• Coordinate with Global Release Team for publication of technical documentation.
