The Technical Content Specialist supports the development and delivery of high-quality technical documentation and training materials for agricultural products, systems, and components. Working within established processes and guidelines, the role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external content development partners to gather, validate, and organize technical information for use in operator manuals, workshop manuals, and related technical publications. The position supports documentation activities across the product lifecycle, including new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing product updates, in alignment with the AGCO Major Product Introduction Process (AMPIP). The role applies working knowledge of technical documentation practices, engineering information, and structured authoring tools to ensure content inputs are accurate, complete, and delivered in line with defined quality standards. The Technical Content Specialist operates with a moderate level of guidance and contributes to team objectives through reliable execution and collaboration.
Support alignment of documentation scope and timing with project management teams for NPI and lifecycle activities. Develop Annotated Topic Lists (ATLs) for Operator Manuals (OM) and Workshop Manuals (WSM) in accordance with defined standards and guidance. Access engineering systems and compile required technical inputs to support internal and external content authoring teams.
Coordinate distribution of documentation drafts in line with AMPIP milestones and local requirements (e.g., OM, WSM, FCT, AI). Review draft content received from external content creation providers against defined requirements and quality criteria.
Facilitate shared review processes using approved PDF and web‑based review tools and consolidate feedback from stakeholders. Communicate consolidated review of comments to content creation providers and support required updates in line with established workflows, including AGCO Change Requests (ACR). Support analysis of dealer or field feedback (e.g., via Salesforce) and coordinate content updates as appropriate.
Support the development of training materials for Train‑the‑Trainer (TTT) initiatives and, when required, assist with training delivery.
Coordinate with the Global Release Team (GRT) to support accurate and timely publication of technical documentation through AGCO digital tools.

This position will pay within the range of $53,000 -$98,000, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on8% of compensation.
This role follows AGCO’s on-site work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location (USA Jackson) with a minimum of 4 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork.
