Ziegler Ag Equipment in Willmar is seeking an experienced Ag Equipment Technician to service the full line from planting to harvest. Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic skills and urgency are required at our Willmar location.

Starting pay range is $27.00 to $45.00 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO and more. Willing to train and develop product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college in diesel tech or related field, or H.S. diploma with 2 years experience.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $45.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair ag equipment from application, tillage, planting to harvest equipment
• Document work orders in a complete and timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Work safely at all times, following company policies, procedures and standards
• Work collaboratively and assist other technicians as needed regarding troubleshooting repairs
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance mechanical skills and grow product knowledge

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or related field; or High school diploma/GED and 2 years of comparable shop mechanic experience
• 3+ years of relevant ag diesel engine/equipment repair experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of repairing a variety of agricultural equipment; ag technology experience is a definite plus
• Ability to write and communicate effectively and interact with supervisors, customers and team members
• Basic computer skills to document work orders and utilize online diagnostic systems
• Own mechanic tool set
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• This role is deemed safety sensitive and requires the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test
