Job summary

Enza Zaden USA, Inc. in Salinas, California is seeking a Product Developer to evaluate, validate and support new experimental varieties.

You will plan and execute trials, analyze performance data, and partner with Breeding, Product Management, and Sales to generate data‑driven insights. The role includes coordinating trials across crops, providing technical guidance to local teams, and advancing varieties from evaluation to commercialization.

Qualifications

• Higher professional education (Bachelor / College) or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage crops of moderate technical complexity within defined segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Provide technical guidance to local teams and support advancement of new varieties.
• Maximize portfolio performance within assigned crop and area.
• Design and develop comprehensive trial plans aligned with objectives.
• Coordinate, monitor and evaluate trials with accurate data and timely reporting.
• Support introduction of new Enza Zaden varieties with clear product value propositions.
• Identify promising experimental varieties via local screening and global programs.
• Ensure availability and efficient management of trial materials.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with breeding, sales, marketing and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
