Job summary

Farm Credit East seeks a Loan Officer to manage customer relationships and provide consultative lending across agribusiness segments. You will develop tailored loan structures, monitor credit parameters, and collaborate with teams to ensure exceptional service and growth.

Hybrid work is available after an initial period, with a focus on community engagement, risk management, and delivering value to customers and the association.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• Knowledge of agriculture, finances, credit and credit administration.
• Strong marketing and interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication and analytical abilities.
• Must be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day customer relationships of credits within your segment (Agribusiness or Retail).
• Proactively analyze industry trends, market data and customer information to drive a consultative lending approach.
• Lead and coordinate all customer-facing activities with support from loan coordinators or financial services.
• Create and maintain a documented 360-degree view of the customer in the core system.
• Collaborate with teammates to drive cross-selling and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Review borrowers' financials and propose loan structures, pricing options, and objectives.
