Farm Credit Mid-America is seeking a Financial Officer to drive marketing, marketplace development, and growth of the portfolio in agriculture finance. The role emphasizes relationship building, credit assessment, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver competitive loan solutions and compliant credit packages.

Requires existing NMLS registration or ability to obtain; strong knowledge of agricultural finance and customer-focused sales approach will be essential in this hybrid, full-time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree with 1 year relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an assigned customer portfolio while developing new business to increase market share and deliver a customer experience aligned with the Association’s mission.
• Develops and maintains a strong professional presence within the assigned territory by building relationships with customers and influencers.
• Applies a consultative approach by understanding customer goals, credit strengths, and opportunities to deliver financial products and services.
• Designs and recommends financial packages by pricing loans based on risk, profitability, and customer needs.
• Ensures sound credit administration by adhering to regulatory and policy requirements and communicating credit decisions clearly.
