Job summary

United Ag & Turf is a John Deere dealership seeking a motivated equipment sales professional to sell new and used machinery across a defined sales region in Texas. You will maintain product knowledge, manage customer information, and follow a structured sales process while supporting customer events and field demonstrations.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication, strong customer relations skills, and a basic understanding of financing options to assist buyers in acquiring equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills essential.
• Preferred: one year of equipment sales experience.
• Knowledge of commercial equipment helpful.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and internet functions.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
• Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment sold by the dealership.
• Monitor competitive activity and communicate to management.
• Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
• Know and follow a defined sales process.
• Assist with preparation and execution of customer events.
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
• Monitor trends in customers' business activities and report to management.
• Maintain knowledge of financing options to assist customers with purchases.
• Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
• May maintain knowledge of used equipment values for trading purposes.
