FCCI Insurance Group seeks a detail-oriented Agribusiness Underwriting Technician Trainee in the Sarasota area. This developmental role trains in processing commercial property & casualty lines, plus Farm lines, within an assigned territory.

Training covers quoting, issuing, amendments, cancellations and endorsements, while evaluating policy files and supporting underwriters and agents. The position is based in Sarasota, FL or Lake Mary, FL, with an emphasis on accuracy, customer service and the

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Knowledge of lines or coverages, rating rules and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with virtual conferencing technology (MS Teams, Zoom).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• The ability to learn through self-study, in addition to formal training.
• The ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Learn to process all lines of commercial property and casualty business, as well as Farm lines within an assigned territory.
• Quote, issue new and renewal policies, amend existing policies, cancellations, endorsements and evaluation of policy files.
• Provide technical assistance to the underwriters and assist agents in their efforts to write business.
