Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Underwriting Product Representative or Underwriting Product Specialist for its Crop division. The role focuses on training, system enhancements, and SME support for underwriting workflows with domestic presence across multiple offices, including Fresno, CA.

On-site four days a week with one remote day is expected. You will develop materials, deliver agency partner training, and leverage Tableau to improve underwriting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of crop insurance underwriting, product support, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of MPCI programs, RMA regulations, policy provisions, and workflows.
• Ability to interpret regulatory and product changes for stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, underwriting systems, and business applications.
• Senior-level, lead, or subject matter expert experience in underwriting operations.
• Experience collaborating with IT on system enhancements and IT tickets.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers training for underwriting systems and processes.
• Creates agency partner training on system enhancements and new functionality.
• Learns and uses Tableau and other platforms to support underwriting operations.
• Represents underwriting in cross-functional projects with Claims, Compliance, IT, and partners.
• Acts as a subject matter resource for underwriting workflows and product processes.
• Identifies and implements improvements to forms and system functionality.
• Troubleshoots system issues with IT to address changes and needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
