Job summary

PHLY Insurance Services Inc. is seeking an Underwriting Supervisor II for its Agribusiness team. The role leads underwriting staff to ensure timely processing, quoting and issuance of new and renewal business, with compliance to policies and regulations.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, participate in recruitment, and support development plans. A background in agribusiness and CPCU pursuit are valued assets for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred; CPCU or working towards recommended.
• Agribusiness experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of underwriting staff and support personnel.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for timely processing, quoting and issuance.
• Provide performance management, coaching and recruitment participation.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting policies and regulations.
• Act as primary underwriter for assigned territory/book as needed.
