Job summary

NEW Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional to help maintain a safe, compliant workplace across district locations in Iowa.

You will inspect sites, report hazards, and lead safety education and training to reduce incidents and injuries. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in safety and health (or equivalent) with 3–5 years of agribusiness operational experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coach teams on OSHA standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent experience.
• Agribusiness experience preferred.
• Awareness of OSHA standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to teach and conduct training.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect district locations for safety hazards.
• Document safety violations and corrective actions.
• Provide safety education and trainings to employees.
• Coordinate incident reviews and investigations.
• Support safety policy compliance and reporting.
