Job summary

TS Bank seeks a VP of Ag and Business Banking to originate, underwrite, and close secured and unsecured agricultural and business loans. The role involves establishing and maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with staff to ensure loans meet policy and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business with coursework in accounting, finance, and economics, and at least five years of banking experience, plus potentially post-graduate banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in business, including accounting, finance, and economics.
• At least five years related banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Post graduate industry-specific education (e.g., Stonier School of Banking).
• Education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Origin, underwrite and close secured and unsecured agricultural and business loans.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Consult with clients to evaluate other bank products meeting financial needs.
• Promote sale of credit and loan services.
• Underwrite all classifications of agricultural and business loans, including government guaranteed and sponsored loans.
