Job summary

Valley Plains Equipment is seeking an Account Manager to foster strong relationships and drive sales within our B2B Large Ag customer base. You will serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating with customers to meet agronomic, operational, and financial goals while representing all Valley Plains departments.

You will manage sales opportunities, maintain CRM data, and work with dealership teams to provide tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience preferred with a proven track record.
• Familiarity with John Deere or competitive equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of agronomic, operational, and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and nurture key customer accounts to deliver solutions.
• Identify sales opportunities and address customer needs consistently.
• Meet or exceed sales metrics for volume, margin, and engagement.
• Help customers develop agronomic, operational, and financial goals.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with service, parts, IS, and other teams for a seamless experience.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the dealership and customers across departments.
• Stay informed on product knowledge for equipment, parts, services, financing, and risk management.
