Simplot Company in Caldwell, ID is seeking a Shipping Receiving Coordinator to ensure product availability, schedule deliveries, and maintain inventory records. You will support day-to-day coordination of related functions while meeting regulatory and safety requirements.

The role involves coordinating deliveries, assisting customers, and helping with inventory control; a background in agriculture or related field is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; combination of education and experience considered.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance practices a plus.
• Prior agriculture industry experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation preferred.
• Chemical and/or fertilizer knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of region and customer needs.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates product delivery to growers at an SGS operation to maximize resources and meet customer needs.
• Provides service to walk-in customers; receives orders; prepares product mix instruction sheets, MSDS, and work orders.
• Makes product purchase recommendations to ensure adequate inventory and records; performs physical inventory counts.
• Performs miscellaneous duties such as filing, calibration, loading trucks, and warehouse work.
