Job summary

North Point Technology seeks a Training Coordinator and Instructional Designer to translate complex geospatial software capabilities into engaging learning experiences for mission users. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design training that enables successful software deployments.

The role requires adult-learning expertise, experience with eLearning development (Adobe Captivate), and LMS/virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Instructional design methodology applied with adult learning principles.
• eLearning content development using Adobe Captivate or similar tools.
• LMS administration and use of virtual training platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Teams).
• Development and delivery of ILT and vILT sessions.
• Familiarity with GEOINT tools (ArcGIS/Google Earth) and their mission relevance.
• Training needs analysis, objectives definition, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of training programs aligned with mission objectives.
• Coordinate in-person and virtual sessions, schedules, and resources.
• Evaluate training effectiveness via feedback, assessments, and metrics; drive continuous improvement with software teams.
• Recommend LMS platforms and emerging instructional technologies.
• Support train-the-trainer initiatives and monitor participation and retention.
