The Agile Technical Tester will work with an agile data analytics development team and be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for testing and assessing solutions to ensure high quality applications are delivered. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop test plans by documenting testable requirements to ensure all objectives are met
• Create and develop Agile Testing approaches
• Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of service or product
• Identify defects within the process
• Support Agile Team in continuous delivery and deployment
• Recommend and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure quality assurance standards are achieved
• Establish, collect, and disseminate quality assurance metrics

Required skills for this position include:

• Strong background in developing test plans, test scripts, executing tests, and reporting detailed and summary metrics with emphasis on Agile testing approaches
• Experience with quality assurance of solutions that include database and data visualization components
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, good knowledge of data analysis and quality assurance policies, attention to detail, and problem-solving or troubleshooting abilities
• Demonstrated ability to analyze defects within the software and database and report possible issues
• Proficient in using MS Office products, especially MS Excel to aggregate and report testing statistics
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar discipline
• Minimum experience requirements: five years of experience required
• Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
• Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen

Desired experience:

• Experience developing testing strategies for large product suites
• Understanding of Python coding
• Experience developing test scripts using Pytest
• Proficient in navigating dashboard applications (PowerBI, etc.)
