Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is seeking a Scrum Master to coach, guide and facilitate an energetic team, serving as a liaison between product delivery, product management and senior leadership to assure quality delivery of products and services.

You will lead agile ceremonies, maintain a prioritized backlog with the Product Manager, remove blockers, and collaborate across teams to optimize performance and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive responsibility as a scrum master/agile project manager in an insurance environment.
• Proven experience as a scrum master on several successful software development projects involving multiple developers.
• Bachelor’s degree required; certification (CSM/SSM) preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more agile teams as scrum master and team member.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint demos and refactoring sessions.
• Maintain a robust, prioritized backlog with Product Manager and Product Owner.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and participate in Agile Community of Practice (CoP).
• Escalate issues to leadership and promote organizational initiatives.
