Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline is required.
• Seven years of progressive responsibility as a scrum master/agile project manager in an insurance environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of one agile framework and best practices (Disciplined Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to manage scrum backlogs and priorities with agile tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Rally/Central Agile, VersionOne).
• Excellent communication, facilitation and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated leadership to interact with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Leads one or more agile teams as the Scrum Master and team member.
• Facilitates sprint planning, daily standups, sprint demos, and refactoring sessions.
• Maintains a robust, prioritized backlog with Product Manager/Owner support.
• Ensures blocking issues are resolved quickly to maintain delivery velocity.
• Coordinates cross-team dependencies and participates in Agile Community of Practice.
• Escalates issues requiring executive attention and supports organizational initiatives.
