Pharmacists Mutual Insurance Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead initiatives from inception to completion, aligning with strategic goals. The role emphasizes Agile practices and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet tools.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, mentor junior PMs, and coordinate resources across departments. Hybrid or remote work options are available, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
• Correct English usage; spelling, grammar, vocabulary and punctuation.
• Read, interpret and input data efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with others (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
• Facilitate iterative planning, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance delivery outcomes.
• Serve as a change agent for Agile adoption, leveraging Scrum or Kanban and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Work with department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs that support both structured and Agile delivery approaches.
• Define resource requirements and develop project plans as necessary.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to project team.
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
• Ensure proper project results by supporting the team as needed.
• Assemble and coordinate project staff.
• Monitor and coordinate resource allocation.
• Collaborate with peers to address portfolio needs.
• Oversee portfolio content and ensure standards are met.
