Job summary

CAC I is seeking a Journeyman Business Analyst for the Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) contract supporting the Department of State. The role focuses on delivering IT portfolio insights, dashboards, and performance plans to enable efficient agile execution in a critical national program.

You will develop and maintain sentiment-free status reports, drive data-driven decisions, and ensure readiness for quarterly releases, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in business/IT analysis, portfolio management, or IT service delivery.
Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban) and agile metrics analysis.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused deliverables.

Responsibilities

Develop monthly contract status reports for portfolio teams, tracking epic progress, milestones, actions, and risks.
Prepare weekly activity and project status reports summarizing sprint outcomes and backlog refinement.
Create portfolio dashboards with near-real-time agile metrics (sprint progress, burn-up charts, velocity, dependencies).
Develop quarterly spend plans for portfolio teams, projecting 12-month resource capacity and budget variance analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete operational readiness checklists for product releases.
