Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an IT Project Manager to help design, develop, and oversee IT initiatives for a large federal entity. You will lead Agile projects, develop plans, manage resources, and drive delivery with strong stakeholder communication.

The role requires expertise in Agile, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration within a government-focused IT department. CGS offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, business, information systems, or related field.
• 5 years of project management experience with IT projects.
• Leadership role in at least 3 projects delivered on time and on budget.
• Experience with Agile scrum teams and offshore/onshore coordination.
• Master’s degree or PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and schedule with regular value deliveries.
• Lead project status and working meetings.
• Prepare and distribute progress reports.
• Manage risks and deviations; support delivery planning.
• Develop continuous process improvements and best practices for Agile.
• Act as liaison for project information and decisions.
• Deliver Agile transformation plans and monitor KPIs.
