Job summary

Dover Networks LLC is seeking a System Automation Software Engineer to modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture. The role entails writing and executing tests with Cucumber and Playwright, and participating in CI/CD and Agile processes.

You will lead test automation efforts, perform load/chaos/functional testing, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure software quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Poly required.
• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or equivalent.
• Experience with microservices, CI/CD, Agile development, and testing frameworks.

Salary Range: $213k-$233k per year with an additional $53k-$58k in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions

The Work:

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:

• Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
• Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright.
• Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology.
• Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, plus 9 years of experience, or a
• Master’s degree plus 7 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.

Desired skills (1+ of the below)

• Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium Tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
