Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a System Automation Software Engineer to modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge testing strategies in a security-focused environment.

You will write and run automated tests with Playwright and Cucumber, perform load and chaos testing, and collaborate with agile teams to deliver reliable software for national security initiatives. Requires TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, plus 9 years of experience; or a Master's degree plus 7 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education

Job Summary

• Seeking a System Automation Software Engineer to modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies

Primary Responsibilities

• Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests
• Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright
• Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology
• Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end‑to‑end testing
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team‑oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Desired Qualifications (1+ of the below)

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
