Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 1 to support modernization of a legacy system using a microservices-based architecture and AWS-native tech. You will contribute to microservices development, REST services, and CI/CD in a collaborative Agile environment.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 3 years of relevant experience (Master's with 1 year also acceptable).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent education/combined experience.
• 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.
• Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Support Agile software development and delivery.

• OAuth/OIDC implementation.
• Test frameworks and automation including Cypress and Cucumber.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience.
• Master's Degree with 1 years of experience.
• PhD with 1 years of experience.
