Job summary

Waystar in Lehi, UT is seeking a Delivery Manager to own the full lifecycle from planning through launch, partnering with Product, Operations, and Application Engineering to drive high-quality technology initiatives.

You will lead with servant leadership, remove impediments, refine backlogs, track SLAs with Operations, and leverage AI tools to optimize planning and risk management. Travel may be periodic as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Scrum Master or Delivery Manager.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in facilitation, conflict resolution, and transparency.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Champion Agile/Scrum practices and values to drive high-performance delivery across Application Engineering efforts.
• Foster a culture of self-organization, continuous improvement, and psychological safety.
• Proactively identify and remove impediments.
• Facilitate productive discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Enhance transparency and stakeholder engagement.
• Support teams in refining and maintaining product backlogs.
• Lead with a servant leadership mindset.
• Collaborate with Operations to track defects and ensure SLAs are met.
• Leverage AI tools and analytics to optimize planning, risk management, and delivery.
• Promote AI-driven automation and insights.
• Integrate emerging technologies into delivery processes.
• Embrace additional duties as assigned.
