Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is hiring an Agile Coach to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment. You will coach delivery teams, leaders, and stakeholders in Agile and Lean principles, driving organizational transformation and embedding an Agile culture across the organization.

Responsibilities include facilitating ceremonies, establishing performance metrics, and developing internal coaching capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies, governance, and digital service delivery practices.
• Understanding of Agile team structures, roles, behaviors, metrics, and organizational change management.
• Skilled in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, workshops, and applying Agile practices to improve delivery.
• Skilled in establishing Agile processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering activities, and knowledge sharing.
• Ability to drive organizational adoption of Agile practices and foster a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.
• Ability to communicate project and program status and define meaningful performance metrics for stakeholders.

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring an Agile Coach to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Provides coaching, mentoring, and guidance to delivery teams, leaders, and stakeholders in the adoption of Agile and Lean principles, practices, and methodologies. Drives organizational Agile transformation by establishing effective processes for managing portfolios of work, improving team performance, and embedding an Agile culture across the organization. Facilitates Agile ceremonies, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities while addressing impediments and improving team roles, behaviors, collaboration, and delivery practices. Establishes and maintains meaningful metrics, requirements, and reporting processes to provide stakeholders with accurate project and program status. Promotes effective cross-team coordination, program management, governance, and continuous improvement across digital service delivery. Develops internal coaching capabilities and provides executive coaching and strategic guidance to support sustained Agile adoption and organizational maturity.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

• Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies, frameworks, ceremonies, portfolio management, governance, and digital service delivery practices.
• Understanding of Agile team structures, roles, behaviors, performance metrics, and organizational change management.
• Skilled in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, workshops, and applying Agile practices to improve team performance and delivery.
• Skilled in establishing Agile processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing delivery activities, and supporting knowledge sharing.
• Ability to drive organizational adoption of Agile practices and foster a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.
• Ability to communicate project and program status, define meaningful performance metrics, and guide stakeholders and staff in effective Agile delivery practices.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

• Undergraduate Degree
• Five (5) years of relevant experience
• Scrum Alliance Enterprise Coach or equivalent
• Relevant certification from nationally recognized technical authority.

• Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
