Job summary

CSS seeks an Agile coach to guide Scaled teams and individual teams in planning, facilitation, and measurement to help achieve committed outcomes. You will mentor leaders, Product Owners, and teams in a digital transformation within a Scrum@Scale framework.

You will design coaching plans across portfolios and teams, drive cultural transformation, and enable value delivery through Lean and Agile practices. Travel to office locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business/Agile related field is required.
• 7+ years experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach.
• 2+ years in a leadership role (RTE or Scrum of Scrums Master).
• 2+ years in a Scaled environment (Scrum@Scale or SAFe).
• Experience with design thinking, product journey mapping, problem statement development, prototyping and visioning.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated ability to guide multiple teams through large-scale planning and delivery with continuous improvement.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro and Office 365.

• Help teams remove barriers and leverage Scrum of Scrums to resolve issues.

Job description

As an Agile coach, you will guide the Scaled teams or individual teams by taking an active role in planning, facilitation and measurement to help the team achieve its committed outcomes. You will collaborate intensively with team members, Product Owners and with leaders to mentor, consult, and make decisions towards digital transformation. You will lead an enablement Scaled team that may help multiple Scaled teams or individual team collaborate and partner on an agile product to drive value at the right time and in the right way in a Scrum @ Scale environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coach senior leaders in Agile & Lean practices to enable them to be effective Agile Champions.
• Coach Agile teams and requisite business IT and Business partners (Product Executives/Owners, Value Stream Owners) on transparency, empowerment, ethics, self-organization and responsive action.
• Contributeto continuously evolving processes to align to enterprise agile transformation strategy.
• Drive the required cultural transformation in adopting the Agile way of working.
• Design and execute custom coaching plans at the portfolio, team of teams, and team level.
• Own outcomes to ensure the Scaled Teams deliver value.
• Guide teams to improve their efficiency by using the right metrics to manage and measure.
• Teach and mentor teams on Lean, Agile, and Scrum/Kanban principles and best practices.
• Facilitate team events that brings out the ideas of everyone on the team. Ensure the outcomes of the events are achieved.
• Work with the teams to implement and create new practices that will improve the team’s ability to deliver better outcomes.
• Foster a Kaizen mindset within and outside the team.
• Help the teams remove their own barriers, leverage Scrum of Scrum’s to remove barriers the team is unable to remove and challenge organizational impediments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Agile, Project Management related disciplines
• 7+years experienceas a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach
• 2+ years of prior experience as a leader, RTE or Scrum of Scrums Master
• 2+years’ experienceworking in a Scaled environment, preferable Scrum @ Scale or SAFe
• Experience with innovative product coaching including design thinking principles, product journey mapping, problem statement development, prototyping, and visioning
• Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching and mentoring skills
• Embody the Scrum Values: Openness, Respect, Courage, Commitment and Focus
• Must have a bias for action and be comfortable in an ever changing or ambiguous environment
• Able to navigate complex situations and serve as a role model of agile values and principles
• Able to effectively facilitate, coach, mentor, and teach in an agile team context
• Demonstrated ability to guide multiple teams through successful large-scale (Scrum @ Scale preferred) planning, coordination, and delivery with continuous improvement
• Ability to create trusting relationships and influence partners through effective collaboration
• Advanced or Coaching credential from the Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc, Scrum.org, or ICAgile preferred
• Tech savvy, experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Office 365 preferred
• Encourage an experimental and fail-fast and learning mindset preferred
• Experience working with teams applying DevSecOps capabilities to achieve delivery speed and operational stability preferred
• Work with teams from a variety of technical domains, including but not limited to warehouse management systems, ERPs, financial systems and data-warehouses preferred
• Remote work with the ability to travel to office locations as needed
