Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Business Systems Manager in the United States to partner with program managers and stakeholders, shaping system feature requirements aligned with strategic goals. The role blends business analysis, product ownership, and backlog refinement within an Agile delivery team.

You will translate complex needs into clear user stories, prioritize work across programs, and ensure measurable outcomes while coordinating releases, training, and pricing with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as business system manager or similar role
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Salesforce and cloud environments
• Experience with Agile methodology and SDLC

Responsibilities

• Manage and refine the product backlog and backlog items with clear acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering to articulate feature requirements
• Define and write user stories for development teams
• Review and accept completed work based on acceptance criteria
• Plan and coordinate releases with cross-functional teams
• Track KPIs and drive continuous product improvements
• Provide context to the development team and answer questions during sprints
