Job summary

Actalent seeks a Scrum Master to lead two Agile pods focused on remote diagnostics and TMS initiatives in Denton, TX. You will facilitate all ceremonies, track sprint metrics, and ensure adherence to Agile practices while coordinating with Product Owners and vendors.

You will drive continuous improvement, support backlog prioritization, and coach teams on Agile principles in a cross-functional environment. This is a contract role with onsite work in Denton.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting Agile software delivery teams.
• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience gathering and managing requirements.
• Strong experience facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and enforcing Agile processes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps including board management, backlog maintenance, reporting, and sprint tracking.
• Experience generating sprint reports, delivery metrics, and Agile dashboards.
• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, trucking, telematics, connected vehicle, or transportation technology environments.
• Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to operate independently and drive execution across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Scrum Master Leadership

Serve as Scrum Master for two Agile pods supporting remote diagnostics and TMS initiatives.

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including:

Monitor sprint execution, team capacity, dependencies, risks, and blockers.

Generate sprint metrics, status reporting, and delivery dashboards.

Manage and maintain Azure DevOps boards, workflows, and reporting.

Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy and prioritized backlogs.

Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and continuous improvement.

Business Analysis

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

Facilitate stakeholder discussions and requirement workshops.

Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation.

Conduct impact analysis and support prioritization activities.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.

Support future project planning and new product initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with Product Owners, validation teams, engineering teams, and vendor partners.

Coordinate activities across internally managed teams and external development organizations.

Support issue resolution, requirement clarification, and release readiness activities.

Ensure proper traceability between requirements, testing activities, defects, and releases.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Scrum Master experience supporting Agile software delivery teams.

3+ years of Business Analyst experience gathering and managing requirements.

Strong experience facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and enforcing Agile processes.

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps including board management, backlog maintenance, reporting, and sprint tracking.

This is a Contract position based out of Denton, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
