Job summary

Capstone IT is seeking a Business Analyst to join a Scaled Agile development team, translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. You will partner with stakeholders, engineers, designers, and QA to own stories through delivery and support testing and defect resolution.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, SAFe ceremonies, process mapping, test planning, and documenting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Map business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements.
• Work independently when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in SAFe/Agile ceremonies.
• Own assigned stories throughout the sprint.
• Identify and escalate blockers and delivery risks.
• Create test plans and test scripts.
• Document, prioritize, and track defects; ensure acceptance criteria are met.
