Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State certification for aggregate, material testing or construction field and/or laboratory testing; MODOT certification possible.
• Minimum of 2 years' quality control experience in aggregate/soils/construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Collect samples from conveyors, stockpiles, and customer sites.
• Record test results in AggQC or standardized forms.
• Communicate test results to management, DOT, and customers.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Inspect stockpiles for proper construction and loadout procedures.
• Assist in investigating and resolving plant process controls.
• Complete Certified Aggregate Technician training with MODOT program.
