Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform entry-level QC testing on aggregates and Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA). You will follow ASTM/AASHTO standards, record results, and support lab and field testing to ensure product conformity.

This role collaborates with plant operations and project teams to maintain quality, safety, and environmental standards while supporting daily testing and sampling activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CAPA A/B certified preferred.
• Radiation safety training certificate required.
• Previous QC testing experience in aggregates/HMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC testing of aggregates and HMA per ASTM/AASHTO standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of tests and observations.
• Communicate test results to operations and management daily.
• Assist with sampling raw materials and support lab schedules.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in all tasks.
