Job summary

Knife River Corporation - Mountain West is seeking a Mining Operations Supervisor in Idaho to plan and coordinate extraction activities, ensuring safety and efficiency while maintaining inventory levels. The role focuses on lowering variable production costs and aligning with area management goals.

Qualified candidates will have a four-year degree (or equivalent experience) and several years of aggregate industry background, plus a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Five years of aggregate industry experience & Idaho aggregate production experience.
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in mineral extraction to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with department leads to lower production costs and keep inventory at required levels.
• Provide updates to area managers and monitor performance with local teams.
• Ensure safety, policy, and environmental regulations are followed at all sites.
