Job summary

CRH is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to direct production and safety programs across Southeast Idaho and Wyoming aggregate locations. You will oversee eight managers and a team of about 50, aligning production schedules with quality standards and customer needs.

In this role, you will drive cost control, implement safety and environmental compliance, and report on KPIs to senior leadership. Travel to sites will be required, with overnight stays as necessary, to ensure consistent

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience in aggregate production or related mining/construction operations.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and multi-site operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA, DEQ, EPA and local regulations.
• Self-directed, results-oriented with strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Direct production planning and safety compliance across eight sites.
• Oversee eight managers and ~50 staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Manage budgets, P&L, and inventory reporting.
• Develop KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with sales and quality teams to meet customer demand.
• Travel to sites as needed, including overnight stays.
