Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials in Rupert, ID is seeking an Aggregate Operations Manager to lead production across multiple locations, plan work, and develop plant managers while improving safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

You will supervise sand, gravel and crushed stone operations, manage budgets and KPIs, and mentor a team of operators and foremen to deliver reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of management experience in aggregate mining or raw materials plant production.
• Strong working knowledge of MSHA regulations and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Understanding of aggregate production equipment and processes (wash plants, screeners, conveyors).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production of sand, gravel, and crushed stone to meet quality and volume targets.
• Monitor and adjust crushing and screening operations for optimal yield and cost efficiency.
• Implement best practices in preventative maintenance and plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
• Manage the capital expenditure process for multiple locations.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of operators, mechanics, and plant managers.
