Job summary

Ahead is seeking an Agentic Solutions Architect to design production-grade agentic solutions across multiple delivery squads on our internal platform. You will connect business needs with engineering execution, shape viable options, and guide squads toward secure, observable, and reusable outcomes.

You will partner with Product, Program, Tech Leads, security, and stakeholders to ensure architectures align with platform standards and strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in software architecture, solutions architecture, or technical leadership.
• Experience shipping production AI, generative AI, or agentic solutions.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems via APIs, events, or workflow engines.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and auditability in designs.
• Proven ability to influence multiple teams without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of explaining architecture to executives.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to understand goals, workflows, and success measures.
• Determine if agentic or deterministic/non-AI solutions are appropriate.
• Design simple, scalable, staged solutions delivering incremental value.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, scope, and roadmaps.
• Explain tradeoffs across scope, cost, quality, latency, and security.
• Own architecture for a portfolio of use cases across multiple squads.
• Map end-to-end workflows, triggers, approvals, system interactions, and handoffs.
• Define architecture patterns, components, and platform services.
• Manage dependencies, technical debt, and reusable patterns across squads.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to convert architecture into work packages and plans.
• Be hands-on to guide teams at a granular level and ensure governance.
