Job summary

Openkrill is seeking an Agentic Solutions Architect to design production-grade agentic solutions across multiple squads on our internal platform. You will translate business needs into technical requirements, shape options, and communicate tradeoffs, while hands-on coding and guiding engineers toward secure, observable, and reusable outcomes.

You will partner with product, program, tech leads, security, and stakeholders to align with platform standards and engineering strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in software architecture and technical leadership.
• Production AI or agentic solutions experience.
• Ability to influence multiple teams without formal authority.
• Strong communication to business stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team leadership and stakeholders to understand goals and constraints.
• Decide when agentic vs deterministic or no-AI approaches are appropriate.
• Champion simplicity, scalability, and staged value delivery.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, scopes, roadmaps, and plans.
• Explain tradeoffs across scope, cost, quality, latency, security, and risk.
• Own architecture for a portfolio of use cases across squads.
• Map end-to-end workflows, events, approvals, and handoffs.
• Define agent package structure, task graphs, and platform interfaces.
• Identify required systems, data, outputs, APIs, and integrations.
• Coordinate dependencies across portfolio and partners.
• Produce architecture diagrams, ADRs, and nonfunctional specs.
• Manage cross-squad dependencies and reusable patterns.
• Translate architecture into work packages, estimates, and delivery plans.
• Provide hands-on guidance with engineering teams.
