Job summary

Accenture Security in New York leads a team focused on modernizing Security Operations Centers and delivering cutting-edge threat detection and response capabilities for clients. This role emphasizes architecture, program management, and cross-domain collaboration to drive secure outcomes.

The work includes developing roadmaps, overseeing implementation, and mentoring senior staff across security disciplines while engaging with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in security operations across multiple domains.
• Experience with log ingestion architectures, data normalization, and telemetry quality in hybrid/multi-cloud environments (3+ years).
• Proven track record of $2M+ in annual bookings or pipeline ownership.
• Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and detection engineering methodologies.
• Experience on leading SIEM/SOAR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements, from current-state assessment through target-state design and implementation oversight.
• Develop SOC maturity roadmaps, operating models, staffing models, and playbook frameworks.
• Lead and quality-assure threat detection engineering, triage workflow redesign, and metrics/KPI framework development.
• Build and scale the SOC modernization offering, including methodologies, toolkits, and accelerators.
• Collaborate with adjacent domains to deliver integrated security solutions.
• Mentor senior consultants, managers, and architects; align with client stakeholders.
