Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to bridge business challenges and technology solutions through AI-assisted engineering and automation. You will work directly with customers to translate requirements into scalable solutions, leveraging agentic SDLC practices and automation for enterprise-grade quality and governance.

Responsibilities include designing and validating AI-generated code, reviewing artifacts and test assets, and building deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

5–7 years of software engineering experience.
Proficient in Python for reviewing and optimizing AI-generated code.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and agentic SDLC.
Familiarity with APIs, microservices and modern architectures.
Background in CI/CD, DevSecOps, automated testing and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

Understand business problems and translate them into technology solutions.
Design, generate and validate AI-generated code and artifacts; drive deployment of enterprise-grade applications.
Apply prompt engineering and context engineering to improve outcomes.
Review AI-generated requirements, design, code and specs for quality and governance.
Validate AI-generated test designs and Playwright/Selenium scripts for coverage and production readiness.
Ensure compliance with security, governance and quality standards.
Build agentic workflows, automation pipelines and developer productivity tools.
Develop prototypes, PoCs and production-ready implementations.
Support customer engagements, workshops and solution consulting.
