Mphasis is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to translate business needs into AI-driven software solutions for enterprise customers in the United States. You will design, deploy, and govern AI-enabled workflows, agents, and APIs while ensuring quality and security.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, building scalable architectures, and utilizing AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and adoption of solutions. A strong Python background is required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software engineering experience with focus on AI-enabled development.
• Proficient in Python for enterprise-grade code review, debugging and optimization.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
• Familiar with LangChain/LangGraph and cloud platforms (GCP/Azure).
• Hands-on API, microservices, and modern architectures; ability to read multiple stacks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to translate business requirements into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
• Map processes, define KPIs and ROI for proposed implementations.
• Design AI workflows, integrations, and data requirements with governance in mind.
• Build AI agents, copilots, and services, integrating with enterprise systems.
• Review and validate AI-generated designs, code, and docs for production readiness.
• Drive deployment through CI/CD, security, testing, and monitoring.
