Job summary

State Street Corp is seeking an Agentic AI Builder, Officer, to design, prototype, and implement AI-enabled workflows across the investment management organization. You will build AI agents and multi-agent systems, with human-in-the-loop controls, using leading AI tools, in a governance-focused environment.

Required is a strong CS/engineering foundation, hands-on AI experience, and proficiency in Python/SQL.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as CS/engineering/data science.
Hands-on ability to learn, experiment, and translate problems into working solutions.
Familiarity with modern AI tools, LLMs, agent frameworks, and IDEs.
Proficient in Python or SQL and prototyping data-integrated workflows.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders and AI product managers to understand workflows and outcomes.
Rapidly prototype, test, and implement agentic AI workflows that scale.
Design and build AI agents, multi-agent workflows, and semi-autonomous systems.
Implement human-in-the-loop controls and monitoring for governance.
Leverage AI development tools, IDEs, prompt methods, and tool libraries.
Support testing, metrics, token/cost optimization, and responsible governance.
