Job summary

KLA seeks an AI/ML Engineer to build agentic AI solutions that automate workflows and support better decision-making across the enterprise. You will deliver reliable, production-grade AI services, contribute to agent orchestration, and continuously improve evaluation and monitoring.

Based at our Midwest HQ in Ann Arbor, MI, you will work with senior engineers and product partners in a hands-on builder role focused on collaborative design, implementation, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of AI/ML experience with a production track record.
• Proficiency in Python with TensorFlow and Scikit-learn; RAG experience is essential.
• Strong background in statistics, ML algorithms, DL, neural networks, and system design.
• Cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and data processing technologies.
• Ability to lead technical projects in matrix environments.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines; agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agent-based AI systems including autonomous agents that can reason, plan, use tools, and collaborate.
• Support benchmarking efforts for model performance across deployment environments.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable AI/ML systems for evolving workloads.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, compliance, observability, and ops standards.
• Run experiments (A/B tests, workflow refinements) to improve agent performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful business outcomes.
