Job summary

KLA is seeking a Graduate AI Engineer Intern in Ann Arbor, MI to design, train, evaluate, deploy and operationalize AI solutions that solve real business challenges. You will combine software engineering fundamentals with ML expertise to develop intelligent applications and AI agents that transform how work gets done.

You will build intelligent assistants, multi-agent workflows, and AI components, while collaborating with business and technology leaders to deliver enterprise-ready AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Familiar with programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to: C/C++/C#/Python/Java/JavaScript/Vue/AngularJS/PHP.
• Solid knowledge of CS and SW engineering: DSA, multithreading, OOP, design patterns, etc.
• Experience with projects related to AI / LLM / AI Agents is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Build intelligent assistants and agentic workflows.
• Develop conversational AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Implement multi-agent AI architectures.
• Train, tune, and deploy machine learning models.
• Build predictive and classification models.
• Develop recommendation engines and intelligent decision-support systems.
• Build APIs and microservices that expose AI capabilities.
• Develop reusable AI components and SDKs for enterprise adoption.
